Part 1

The Merlin opens with the benefits of laughing to open the heart to the grace and benevolence of the Universe. After the giggles loosen the heartstrings, he then instructs you to look at the landscapes of your life.

What do you see? Do you live a life filling every moment with thoughts, with doing, with clutter and noise? Through the Alchemy of his words, Merlin guides you to erase half of your landscape and come into direct relationship with the Unknown.

Merlin images the Unknown as the Great Mystery and the fertile ground of all possibilities and revelations. As you leave space in your life for the Unknown, the Universe begins to play with you. You experience new things every moment, you enter into the challenges of Initiation, and you learn the true meaning of co-creation with the Divine.

The Merlin reveals that the longing for the Divine is what creates the human response to go into Initiation. As you enter a Corridor of Initiation, you face challenges that ultimately become the instruments of the change that you have been longing for. Initiation feels like walking down a long corridor of life feeling blindfolded. You outstretch your arms, feeling your way down the corridor. You don’t know when it will end. Occasionally, you feel a door, and open it to a room you’ve been in before. Sometimes you want to go into that room, as it seems known and familiar. However, growth does not occur with the

old and familiar.

Merlin shares it is a privilege to be in Initiation, and to come face to face, nose to nose with the Unknown. The antidote, and what saves the Initiate, is developing the ability to listen, follow, and trust the whisperings from the unknown. Initiation is the vehicle of profound spiritual growth.
