In this lesson, The Merlin explains that heartbreak is an essential part of human evolution. Heartbreak teaches us to experience the richness of vulnerability, compassion and courage.  

The Path of the Broken Heart is a purposeful and necessary part of the human experience. There is a reason for everything. Even in the most severe victimization, The Merlin reminds us that the soul is eternal and that the consciousness of suffering is fertile ground for powerful compassion.  

The Merlin asks that we transform our perception of the broken heart to that of the expanded heart.
