Shadow Teachers

The Merlin takes you into a powerful Alchemical experience. He invites you into a visual, dancing with the Kachinas and Kokopellis. He explains that they are dancing the Dance of Creation, which often includes stories of the Shadow. All of it—the light, the shadow, the joy, the challenge—is part of the Dance of Creation. Life is not happening to you; it is dancing with you. And you are being invited to join that dance fully.

The Merlin opens this transmission with a lot of sunshine. You have come farther than you realize. You have been walking this path, and along the way you have been dropping your baggage—dropping it. And now here you stand, in a new frequency, a new wonder about yourself, shining like a diamond.

And yet, as the sun shines upon you, it also casts a Shadow. This Shadow is not your enemy—it is your teacher. The Shadow Teacher is present always, not to stop you, but to reveal your next steps. It appears in moments of fear, resistance, irritation, or that familiar voice that pulls you into contraction. In that

moment, you have a choice: to continue down the lane of suffering, perhaps hanging out with your victim, or hiding out in the ditch, or you can stop... and ask, “Who’s there? What is the message?”

The Merlin teaching is simple and direct. The Shadow Teachers live as disguised teachers in the Mystery. The Mystery wants to reveal itself to you. The Shadow Teachers return again and again until you listen, until you move, until you change. Merlin reframes your suffering into a moment to ask, “What is the

truth here that I am missing? What is the revelation I am missing? “

What you once feared becomes a source of truth. You begin to walk arm in arm with your Shadow Teacher, your awareness, and receive the insights that have previously been hidden. Put your arm around that shadow, thank it, listen, and course correct. In doing so, you step forward as one who is no longer afraid to be taught by Life itself. The Merlin states...“Life is always informing you. The question is... how open are you to being informed?”
